ANY amount helps and is so greatly appreciated. Rescue is very expensive and should not be the burden of only a few people. Our society treats animals as throw away items to be discarded at will! Our shelters are over crowded and wonderful pets are killed daily, It is very sad that people refuse to spay/neuter pet dogs and cats and that most of the off spring from these pets end up in these kill shelters. We do all we can to help save as many of these poor little ones as possible.
Below is the application to fill out before adopting a pet from us at Heavensown.
Such adorable tiny pups a brother and sister searching for a forever loving homes. We saved them from a difficult situation in hopes of finding them a great new home where they would get the love and care they deserve.
The mom ( a beautiful terrier mix) was running in the hwy and pups were allowed to follow her. The people who had these dogs did not want them and did not care if they were killed by traffic! So they would be happy to "give them away" even though they said they paid a lot of money for the mom a year ago. Since taking them into rescue they have got their first round of puppy shots plus been placed on a wormer. They seem extremely healthy and are very cuddly. Do you have room in your home and heart for a beautiful terrier mix puppy or a pair? They will make someone a wonderful pets and they are so cute and tiny. The are just about 8 weeks old. They look like mini corgi pups and have the most adorable short little legs! They say the dog they who was the father of her pups weighed around 7 pounds and mom was about 15 pounds so they should be really little dogs as adults. They are so sweet! You will need a vet reference and must be a responsible person to be considered to adopt a new companion dog from our rescue. These poor babies were abandoned at a run down shack on a dirt road without food, water or any real shelter. Their mom was running in the hwy when a police officer saw her almost cause a traffic accident. He went around trying to locate where she lived and someone told him at the end of the dirt road. When he got there he discovered she had no human family living at the run down shack but did have 4 adorable puppies searching for food and water. He said the mom was crossing the highway to get to a parking lot where there was a fast food place to possibly bring food back to them. Poor babies were so hungry when they got into rescue that they never looked up from their bowls. The neighbors said that the people who once lived there took the springer spaniel with them but left the australian shepherd female behind and a few weeks later she must have had the puppies. They are now safe and warm plus well fed! They have their first round of puppy shots and wormer plus a nice bath. What they need now is a speical loving family to give them what all great pups deserve....a wonderful forever home. Contact us if you fit the bill and will be willing to fill out a application with a vet reference. A fenced yard is desired and responsible pet owners a must. We would be happy for you to come meet these precious 7 week old babies to see if one is a match for your family. Highly intelligent, fun, playful and real sweethearts. Will make EXCELLENT companions and family pets. These pups have already had some play time with children and just love everyone who shows them some affection. AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD AND SPRINGER SPANIEL MIXED BREED PUPS
Pups that will grow into LARGER DOGS FOR ADOPTION
We were told that the father is possibly a collie mix but you can see for sure the mom was a chow chow. These beautiful fluffy babies are so adorable and the most fuzzy pups ever! They do look like red bears for sure and if they held still long enough would not even look real! They are stunning! The ended up at a gas shelter where they were about to be killed! Their only crime is that the had the wrong daddy for the lady to be able to sell them as pure breed chows and make money off of them! They had NO choice about who their daddy was! What a shame that some people care so little about their animals lives. We have in our rescue 5 adorable Who's Ya Daddy chow mix pups that will make excellent companions for a responsible person or family. They are great with kids already and have learned to use the doggie door to go outside to potty. They had a friend with them at the shelter who came with them cause they sort of adopted him. He is a plot hound mix named Pluto and you can see him in the pictures too. He is also looking for someone to love him and give him a great home. See him in separate listing on our petfinder site. He thinks he is a litter mate to these guys and does everything with them....These pups are all around 4.5 months old, started on puppy shots and worner plus already have their bordatella (sp) shot. Email for an application then come meet these fuzzy bears. Responsible homes with vet refrences will be considered as adoptive parents. These babies love toys, and playing in water!
