It is so hard to believe the puppies are now 5.5 weeks old. Today is Tuesday and in 2 days they will be 6 weeks old! Wow where did the time go? I am spending so much time with them that I am not getting much of anything else accomplished these days.
There are at least 3 extra large loads of puppy laundry each day, grinding up blackwood puppy food and feeding them 3 times a day, not to mention playing with them, getting vet checks, shots and all the other things I do with them. I love EVERY minute of this precious time with each puppy. I am planning to give them each a bath within the next couple of days and will post those pictures asap. My husband is going to help me take some stacked grooming table pictures tomorrow of them for the site too. Each puppy has such a beautiful correct build. Getting them to be still is another story!
They are getting really smart too. As soon as I take them out of the whelping box they each go stinky right away. The only time them seem to have an accident is when I get busy and do not take them out exactly on schedule. They should be easy to potty train.
I can not get over how fluffy they are getting! I can hardly cut any of the puppies toe nails now because the hair has grown over all of their nails!
The puppies had begun to escape their enclosure so we had to bring in the big wooden whelping box.
In the above picture everyone was sleeping soundly except Jasmine and she went around to each puppy and woke everyone up! She was not happy until they were all awake just like her.
They are now playing with each other more and starting to show unique characteristics. I will be writing more about each puppy on page 2 in the days to come as I observe them.
We have wonderful puppy breath and are enjoying each puppy so much. They each get lots of individual attention each day, get their nails trimmed every few days and we have a radio playing where they get use to all types of voices and sounds.
This page holds misc pictures of the puppies and the pictures closer to the bottom are the most recent. I will add new pictures every few days as they are growing. I have already taken over 2,300 pictures of these puppies since they were born 9 weeks ago. The problem is pulling myself away from them long enough to resize them and post them to the web site!
Here at Heavensown we are starting something new with our puppy families. Information coming soon so be sure to check back to read about our NEW incentives to get active with your puppy.
